Modular Construction, Prefab

Prefab/Modular construction looks at the traditional construction process from a different perspective. Rather than using the traditional "Stick Built" method, which typically consists of receiving the required materials on the jobsite and assembling them piece by piece, modular construction builds entire sections that, when assembled, create complete sections of a building. Creating entire sections as a whole allows for Just in Time delivery when needed and offers customers a more effective, efficient and streamlined approach.

By utilizing a true "team" approach, Continental is always developing new and more innovative ways to provide a better product. construction touches every facet of the construction industry and Continental supports the entire approach through a series of developed processes and procedures. It starts with a centrally located distribution center that includes a dedicated prefabrication area and crew, making it easier for Continental to address specific logistical challenges. Labor needs on the jobsite are accounted for and peaks and valleys in the timetable flattened out as a result of the preplanning and fabrication methods used.

Streamlined Scheduling for Better Cost Control

Outstanding Customer Benefits

We implement quality control procedures that enable us to gain advance knowledge of any damage to construction equipment and better manage customer schedules and expectations to deliver better all-around service. We also have the ability to store owner-supplied equipment, another move that minimizes customer costs and ensures timely delivery of materials to the job site.

Tooling
