construction company in Chicago and its suburbs, as well as
one of the largest in the Midwest. Whether performing general
electrical services or focusing on one of our many areas of
specialization, Continental is the single source for all electrical
construction needs. Our success is based on the ideals that have been passed down through four generations of family ownership and management. Our family-based culture gives us an advantage in the market because our customers know we consistently and diligently work hard to uphold our reputation of quality and professionalism on each and every assignment.

Continental is committed to being the leading contractor for
quality electrical services. We continue to build business relationships
by providing bundled services and solutions for our customers.
For our personnel, we provide a culture that encourages achievement
of personal and corporate goals. Pride, trust and value result
in total customer satisfaction.

Safety is our top priority. We implement a formal accident prevention
program at each project to create and maintain a safe workplace.
As a result, our average EMR (emergency modification rate) consistently
falls between .55 and .65. This is among the lowest EMRs in
the industry and attests to our understanding of the importance
of safety and reliability to the successful completion of customer
projects. We have won the Lake County Contractors Association
award for the best safety record of any area contractor for
five consecutive years, in addition to numerous safety commendations
from our customers.

Today's rapidly changing technology demands continual renewal
of skills and knowledge exchange to improve and expand our capabilities
and service to customers. One of the most effective ways is
through our annual trade show, now in its 12th year, which
brings together more than 750 Continental vendors, field force
and office personnel, as well as electrical inspectors, union
officials and customer representatives. The event showcases
new products, technology and methods, provides hands-on demonstrations
and promotes one-on-one communication with vendors whose products
we use.
In addition, our new 5,000-square-foot tech center at corporate
headquarters is the site of ongoing educational presentations,
foremen meetings, vendor demonstrations and company-wide monthly
safety sessions. We created this environment to provide a forum
for learning about new methods, new equipment and new tools.
The tech center also gives our field force an opportunity to
test innovations so they can apply new technology on the job
with confidence.
